The Reading of the Testimonies launched at the United Nations on April 7th, 2009 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide with readings of survivor testimonies by survivors by well known personalities and students. The Reading of the Testimonies is an annual event that takes place April 5th - April 7th
