How does It work?
Foundation Rwanda has donated office space from Getty Images in the US and works with local NGOs and social workers in Rwanda to implement our programs and maximize efficiency.

Where will my money go?
Your donation will go directly towards sponsoring the education of children born of rape during the Rwandan genocide and towards trauma counseling and income generating programs for their mothers.

What does It take to send a child to secondary school?
A $150 donation will sponsor a child to go to school for one fiscal year and $350 will provide school fees, scholastic materials, uniforms, shoes, and transportation. Our goal is that each child we sponsor has the opportunity to attend school through graduation. The children will be visited periodically by Foundation Rwanda staff or social workers to evaluate their progress.

How do I become a Foundation Rwanda annual donor?
Foundation Rwanda seeks to sponsor each child through graduation. With an annual donation of $350 you can sponsor one child's school fees, books transportation and uniform all the way through his or her graduation. If you'd like to become an annual donor, please check the annual donor box on the donation page.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Donations for Foundation Rwanda are tax deductible under the not-for-profit 501(c)3 charity status, Tax ID #11-3837036.

Is my donation secure?
Yes.  Foundation Rwanda uses PayPal™ to securely process credit card donations online without sharing any of your financial information.

Do you partake in Corporate Gift Matching?
Yes! You can make your gift go farther through your company's charity matching gift program. Thousands of companies, small and large, have Matching Gift programs which double or even triple individual tax-deductible contributions made by their employees. Your employer may be one of them. The process is simple: ask if your company has a Matching Gift program.
